POSITION OVERVIEW
We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong software engineering capabilities and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, production-grade applications.
This role is designed for professionals who can contribute beyond development — participating in architecture decisions, system design, performance optimization, and technical leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong ownership, product thinking, and execution capabilities in high-performance engineering environments.
Important: Candidates must be based in Pakistan, with Lahore-based professionals strongly preferred for collaboration and operational alignment.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
- Lead end-to-end feature development, from architecture and design through deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code across multiple system components.
- Optimize application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver successful solutions.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and engineering decision-making.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices and quality standards.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, monitoring, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining complex, production-grade applications.
- Experience working with distributed or international teams is preferred.
- Experience operating within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering best practices.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and software development frameworks.
- Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and Git workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and modern DevOps practices is preferred.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles, design patterns, and software architecture best practices.
